 This area has lots of summer and winter recreational activities such as camping, hiking, motorcycle, ATV, and side-by-side riding, fishing, hunting, rodeos, shooting teams, downhill and cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, and back country skiing.   Also close is the Stephens Performing Arts Center and the Idaho State Civic Symphony.

 Less than 15 miles away is the Portneuf Medical Center, Idaho State University and a variety of restaurants.   Less than 18 miles away is the Pineridge Mall, AMC movie theater, Home Depot, Lowes, WalMart, and more restaurants.

 The best use of this land would be for spring grazing.   There is also an area surrounded by quakies and pines that would be perfect for an off-the-grid cabin.
