Primary irrigation rights from the Powder River dating to 1869 & 1870 provide irrigation water for approximately 516 acres.  The primary water rights are backed up by an additional 415 acres of supplemental irrigation water from Phillips Reservoir.

 The ranch is currently flood irrigated, resulting in no power costs to deliver the irrigation water. The water resources of the ranch also provide excellent waterfowl hunting.The Baker Ranch has the capability to be a self-contained cow/calf operation and would also be an excellent property to run yearlings.

 Improvements include several outbuildings and a set of working corrals complete with a truck load-out for shipping cattle. Access to Interstate-84 is less than 3 ½ miles away, which allows for easy transportation of cattle anywhere in the Pacific Northwest.

 The ranch is located just 3 ½ miles from historic downtown Baker City,  known for its strong agricultural community and warm small-town culture. The vibrant downtown has retained the architectural features from the city's historic past and features numerous dining options, an excellent variety of local shops, multiple museums and other cultural attractions.

 The nearby Anthony Lakes Mountain Resort is famous for its small mountain atmosphere and well known for its excellent powder quality for skiing and snowboarding.
