Yes, NO TAXES and NO BUILDING PERMITS are required at this Resort. The Lodge is located in an area that has no municipality, so no taxes. There is a volunteer fire department with the firehouse 1/4 mile away and law enforcement by Alaska State Troopers. The Trans Alaska Oil Pipeline is visible from the deck.
