Matthew Smith was raised on a third generation cattle ranch just north of Burns, Oregon. Growing up and working on a cattle ranch with abundant opportunities for both fishing and hunting makes him uniquely qualified to represent those looking into the country lifestyle. Whether you are new, already immersed in the lifestyle and wanting to upgrade, or wishing to simplify your life and transition out of country living, Matthew is ready and willing to assist you in your real estate needs.
Matthew was thrust upon the “Big City” when his father was elected to Congress in 1980. He spent his high school years in northern Virginia and couldn’t wait to get back to Oregon to attend college. Matthew started college at Willamette University and finishing with a degree in Business Administration and Management from Southern Oregon University.
He has since worked for the Oregon Legislature as well as four years as Constituent Services Manager for Congressman Greg Walden dealing with agriculture and natural resource issues. Matthew also spent five years selling commercial real estate in Southern Oregon for Burrill Real Estate Company.
Along with joint management of his family ranch, Matthew also participates in Smith West Co., a governmental services company that represents the three major irrigation districts in southern Oregon.
With his experience in dealing with federal and state agencies, growing up in the lifestyle, and his passion for hunting and fishing, Matthew is uniquely qualified to represent you in your farm and ranch real estate needs.

Dear Robert, I think you are one of the nicest people on the planet, and for sure the best realtor. Thank you for all your hard work, great advice, patience, and for sticking in there with me. You really went "above and beyond". The world is a better place with people like you in it and I feel really lucky to have crossed paths with you"

"We appreciated Tim's hard work. We had 2 different real estate companies prior to meeting you, over the time of a couple years they each brought us 1 prospective buyer. You in turn brought us numerous prospective buyers along with several offers, with a final close in under 2 years. We feel that you had a knowledge of where and how to market our business so it was marketed in the right places and to the right people. As you well know when the sale was finalized it was at our asking price with little or no haggling.
We appreciate the fact that you were available 7 days a week, and willing to show the business even on a Sunday with very little notice. Tim Thank you once again.

"We were referred to Jason a few years ago. We were looking for our dream rural property, however, competition was high and inventory was low. Jason found us a great starter home until the right property came along. He continued to keep looking for us; one day we received a phone call that he “thinks he found the one.” We drove out to that day, and we immediately knew Jason was right ~ This was the dream property we had been waiting for! Jason stayed on top of every detail, and we can't thank him enough for listening to all of our needs and wants and finding the perfect property for our family. His attention to detail, care for his customers, integrity, understanding of the market, and work ethic shined every step of the way!"
