Christopher is a licensee in the Great State of Oregon where he was raised on a cattle ranch in Burns. He still owns and operates this ranch with his brother, Matthew. The Smith Brothers Ranch is a working cattle ranch that also provides habitat for many species including Deer, Elk, Antelope, Chucker, Quail, and Sage Grouse. The ranch has entered into cooperative agreements with the United States Department of Agriculture to preserve a portion of the property for these species. He has been an avid sportsman throughout his life.
During high school, he moved with his family to Virginia due to his father being elected to 2nd Congressional district of Oregon. After graduating, he worked as a lobbying assistant for the National Cattlemen’s Association. He then traveled to Chicago where he spent a year as a research assistant for the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. He worked with industry traders in the Cattle, Feeder Cattle, Hog, and Lumber pits.
He then enrolled at Oregon State University where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture and Resource Economics.
Following college, Christopher was employed by Monterey County Cattle Feeders in Gonzales California where he managed a cattle feed yard owned by a Japanese company engaged in replicating the quality of Kobe beef. Angus feeder cattle were substituted and were placed on feed for up to a year then sent fresh to Japan.
Christopher also spent a year with an Irrigation District in Redmond Oregon and then managed the concrete portion of Deschutes Ready Mix in Bend.
He then spent a stint with a Congressional office as an agricultural manager of constituent services and then joined his father in an agriculture consultation firm; where he currently serves as President. The firm has represented municipalities, irrigation interests, as well as general agriculture including timber. Through these experiences, he has fostered many relationships throughout the State of Oregon which will serve him well in representing you in all of your land and wildlife real estate needs.
Christopher currently serves on the Jackson County Fair Board and is a member of the “One Campaign” — where he is assisting Cascade Christian High School with a land acquisition to be used as an athletic complex in Medford, Oregon.
Dear Robert, I think you are one of the nicest people on the planet, and for sure the best realtor. Thank you for all your hard work, great advice, patience, and for sticking in there with me. You really went "above and beyond". The world is a better place with people like you in it and I feel really lucky to have crossed paths with you"

"We appreciated Tim's hard work. We had 2 different real estate companies prior to meeting you, over the time of a couple years they each brought us 1 prospective buyer. You in turn brought us numerous prospective buyers along with several offers, with a final close in under 2 years. We feel that you had a knowledge of where and how to market our business so it was marketed in the right places and to the right people. As you well know when the sale was finalized it was at our asking price with little or no haggling.
We appreciate the fact that you were available 7 days a week, and willing to show the business even on a Sunday with very little notice. Tim Thank you once again.

"We were referred to Jason a few years ago. We were looking for our dream rural property, however, competition was high and inventory was low. Jason found us a great starter home until the right property came along. He continued to keep looking for us; one day we received a phone call that he “thinks he found the one.” We drove out to that day, and we immediately knew Jason was right ~ This was the dream property we had been waiting for! Jason stayed on top of every detail, and we can't thank him enough for listening to all of our needs and wants and finding the perfect property for our family. His attention to detail, care for his customers, integrity, understanding of the market, and work ethic shined every step of the way!"
